Meet the New Faces Behind Our Purpose-Driven Travel Experiences
New recruits Nia, Ottilie and Tamara in Far & Wild's London office
At Far & Wild, we're passionate about creating meaningful, tailor-made holidays that leave a positive impact on people and the planet. That’s why we’re thrilled to welcome three ambitious business graduates to our growing team - each bringing fresh perspectives, academic expertise, and a shared passion for responsible travel.
Meet Our New Team Members
Joining us as Junior Africa Sales Consultants are Ottilie Dick, a Business Enterprise graduate, and Tamara Jack, a Business Management and Geography graduate - both of whom studied at Oxford Brookes University. Nia MacKenzie, who holds a degree in International Business from Nottingham Trent University, has joined as a Junior Asia Sales Consultant.
These talented individuals stood out not only for their academic achievements but also for their enthusiasm for sustainable tourism and cultural connection.
A Shared Passion for Purpose-Driven Travel
For Ottilie, working in travel was a natural next step. “I've always had a love for travel and feel lucky to have visited so many incredible countries around the world. But Africa, in particular, has always captivated me. It’s genuinely inspiring to work for such a responsible company like Far & Wild and contribute to making travel a force for good. I love sharing my passion with clients and creating special holidays, and I can’t wait for my upcoming work trip to Tanzania!”
Tamara, who was born and raised in Kenya, brings personal insight and deep regional knowledge to her role. “It’s incredibly rewarding to combine my love for Africa with my academic background in a business that genuinely cares about people and the environment. In my first two months alone, I’ve already visited St Helena on a work trip, where I swam with whale sharks and met Jonathan the giant tortoise - the world’s oldest land mammal! It’s a dream job!”
Nia’s experience and academic focus on sustainable tourism make her a perfect fit for our Asia team. “Having travelled extensively across South-East Asia, I feel incredibly fortunate to have found a role where I can combine my academic background and interests in sustainability with my love of travel. I’m really looking forward to helping clients explore a part of the world that I love so much, in a meaningful and responsible way."
Shaping the Future of Sustainable Travel
Over the years, Far & Wild has built a strong reputation as a leader in sustainable travel, designing bespoke journeys that create lasting memories while supporting local communities and preserving natural ecosystems.
In recognition of our commitment, Founder and CEO Ben Morison was inducted into the Global Travel Hall of Fame in 2024, honouring his leadership in shaping tourism through a powerful blend of commercial innovation and environmental advocacy.
Investing in Talent for a Better Tomorrow
Managing Director Alistair Walls, himself an Oxford Brookes alumnus, believes strongly in nurturing emerging talent: “At Far & Wild, we look to hire ambitious individuals who share our passion for sustainable travel, and we’ve found that in Ottilie, Tamara, and Nia, whose academic backgrounds are playing an important role in helping them grow professionally and, ultimately, develop Far & Wild as a business.”
